FARMINGTON, Maine (AP) - A Maine woman has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge that she helped her boyfriend conceal a fatal drunk driving hit-and-run crash on New Year’s Day.

Twenty-seven-year-old Nikita Tolman was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution.

She was one of two passengers in Tommy Clark’s car when, authorities say, Clark struck and killed 21-year-old Taylor Gaboury in Farmington.

The Morning Sentinel (https://bit.ly/2dtTimg ) reports Clark left Tolman and another passenger at the entrance of an insurance agency down the road from the crash. Tolman then called 911 to report that a woman had been struck by a car.

The other passenger has not been charged.

Clark pleaded guilty in June and is serving three years in prison.
