CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - Sports enthusiasts are worried about a possible trade of land run by the federal government, the state of Wyoming and a Casper businessman.
The businessman wants the state to trade its land in the Laramie Range in southeast Wyoming to him for another parcel somewhere else.
People who use the land for hunting and recreation say it would lock them out of more than 4,000 acres of public use.
According to the Casper Star-Tribune (https://tinyurl.com/zrbq4un ), the State Board of Land Commissioners will decide on Oct. 6.
