ESPN’s Mike Reiss said the New England Patriots brought in fullback Glenn Gronkowski, the younger brother of superstar tight end Rob Gronkowski, to workout with the team.

Glenn was released by the Buffalo Bills after their first game of the season. He was on the field for seven total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus. As a member of the Bills in preseason, Glenn finished with seven carries for 30 yards.

Glenn, an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State, ended his collegiate career with 51 rushing yards, 369 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 23 games.

Rob has missed the first two games of the season with a hamstring injury.

If the Patriots end up giving two Gronks a spot, it really doesn’t seem fair. But if you are expecting another party boy to don a Patriots jersey, you may be wrong.
