Do you love trading cards and LeBron James?
Do you also have $200,000 lying around?
If so, there’s an auction going on for a James rookie card that has a game-worn NBA patch attached to it, plus King James’ signature.
According to sports memorabilia expert Ken Goldin, who was interviewed by cleveland.com’s Joe Naga, the card was first pulled out by a collector and had been off the market for 10 years.
Goldin says it is the most valuable piece of LeBron James memorabilia in the world.
“It’s sorta like finding Willy Wonka’s golden ticket,” Goldin said. “It really is the Holy Grail of modern trading cards.”
The Holy Grail is worth an ungodly amount of money. Currently, the Upper Deck “2003 LeBron Logoman’s” highest bid is $65,000, but with 12 days remaining in auction, Goldin says it will likely reach $200,000.
The card is the only one ever printed of its kind.
If you want to bid on it, here’s the link. Good luck.
