There are all sorts of wacky facts about the NFL, and Sunday’s Carolina Panthers-San Francisco 49ers game featured a pretty fun one.

According to Pro Football Reference (and first pointed out by Reddit user TheManWithTheBigName), Carolina’s 46-27 victory was the first time that scoreline has ever been recorded in the history of the NFL.

In total, Pro Football Reference has 367 score possibilities between 0 and 50 that have never been recorded in the NFL.

There are some surprising ones on the list. For example, there has never been a score of 8-7, 22-18 or 27-8.

However, there are a few score possibilities that seem entirely impossible to record. 42-2? 5-2? 18-4? When would those scorelines ever happen?
