GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - An 18-year-old man who was shot at a Glendale strip mall has died.

ABC-15 (KNXV-TV) in Phoenix reports (https://bit.ly/2dNcMks) that Juan Diaz succumbed to his injuries at a hospital Saturday afternoon.

Police say the shooting took place in the early morning hours at a strip mall near 67th Avenue and Bethany Home Road.



A witness says several cars were involved and multiple shots were fired.

Police have since arrested 19-year-old Javonte Baker-Young.

He has been booked on charges of homicide and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

It was not immediately known Sunday if he had an attorney.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
