ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a woman will be charged with attempted murder after she shot her husband during an argument while he was driving.
Their 5-year-old daughter was also in the pickup truck.
Anderson County sheriff’s deputies said in a statement that the husband lost control of the truck after he was wounded and it flipped and struck some trees around 9 p.m. Friday near Iva.
Authorities say 42-year-old Kerry Gosnell, her husband and their child were all taken to the hospital. All are expected to recover.
Deputies say Gosnell will be charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and illegal conduct toward a child when she is released from the hospital.
The names of Gosnell’s husband and daughter were not released.
