NORTH MASSAPEQUA, N.Y. (AP) - Police say they’re searching for another man who was seen running naked inside a park on Long Island, days after they charged a man suspected of doing the same thing.
Police say a 51-year-old woman reported seeing a man running naked from the waist down in the Massapequa (mass-uh-PEE’-kwuh) Preserve on Sunday afternoon.
The woman said the man was running the opposite way wearing only a dark green sweatshirt with a hood covering his face.
Police arrested a 57-year-old Amityville man on Friday and charged him with public lewdness after people reported a naked man was approaching women in the park.
Police say the cases do not appear to be related.
They’ve increased patrols throughout the park.
