Redskins, Lions first quarter: No score

DETROIT — After one quarter, the Washington Redskins find themselves tied with the Detroit Lions 0-0.

A costly Matt Jones fumble inside the Lions’ five yard line ended the Redskins’ best chance to put points on the board. Detroit kicker Matt Prater missed a 49-yard attempt for Detroit’s best chance.
