Where was the running game? That was a repeated question through the first two weeks of the season for the Redskins. Running back Matt Jones — and every other back on the roster — were rarely used. That has changed as weeks have gone by.

Jones carried 22 times for 117 yards on Sunday, marking his second career 100-yard game and a season-high in carries. The 22 carries were more than the 20 he had in Weeks 1 and 2 combined.

“Looked like he was running with more power and conviction,” Redskins coach Jay Gruden said.
