FORT MILL, S.C. (AP) - The candidate hoping to unseat U.S. Rep. Mick Mulvaney this fall is holding a campaign event with one of the top Democrats on Capitol Hill.
Fran Person is hosting a small business round table event Tuesday featuring Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer. The Maryland congressman is the second-ranking House Democratic leader.
Tuesday’s event is happening at the Puckerbutt Pepper Company in Fort Mill.
Earlier this year, Person held a fundraiser with Vice President Joe Biden. Person worked for Biden in the U.S. Senate and the White House.
