The following players have been listed as inactive for the Washington Redskins game against the Philadelphia Eagles:
— Tight end Jordan Reed (concussion). Vernon Davis is expected to start in his place.
— Safety Su’a Cravens (concussion). Cravens has now missed two straight games.
— Cornerback Dashaun Phillips (hamstring)
— Wide receiver Josh Doctson (Achilles). Head coach Jay Gruden said earlier this week that it’s becoming more and more difficult to keep Docston on the active roster as opposed to the injured reserve list, but the Redskins are still holding out on a Docston return.
“That’s going to be the No. 1 question here pretty soon,” Gruden said of Doctson’s roster spot. “You know, fortunately, we don’t have to worry about it right now. I want to try and keep it as long as we can because if he feels good tomorrow or next week, he’ll play. You know, he’s a huge asset to this football team, so we want to give him every chance to get well.”
— Quarterback Nate Sudfeld
— Offensive lineman Vinston Painter
— Defensive end Anthony Lanier II
Additionally, the Eagles have listed wide receiver Bryce Treggs, cornerback Leodis McKelvin, cornerback C.J. Smith, defensive end Steven Means, offensive lineman Josh Andrews, offensive guard Dillon Gordon and offensive guard Isaac Seumalo as inactive. Earlier in the week, Philadelphia’s starting offensive tackle, Lane Johnson, was suspended for violating the league’s performance enhancing drug policy. Halapoulivaati Vaitai is expected to replace Johnson.
