The Boston Red Sox were swept in three games by the Cleveland Indians in the American League Divisional Series, abruptly ending the career of David Ortiz.
Ortiz, who announced that he would retire following the season earlier this year, was emotional as he said one last good bye to Fenway Park.

Ortiz ends his career with 541 home runs, 1,768 RBIs and a .286 batting average. The likely future Hall of Famer was also known for being a particularly clutch player, recording in 61 RBIs in just 85 postseason games.
