OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating after a 54-year-old Idabel resident was killed when his motorcycle collided with a truck.

A preliminary report from the patrol says Jeffrey Deville died Friday in the McCurtain County crash.

The report says the truck was turning left onto the southbound lane of U.S. 70 and turned into Deville’s path.

Deville was pronounced dead from head injuries at a nearby hospital. The patrol’s report says Deville wasn’t wearing a helmet.
