PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Police say a woman is dead after a shooting in Philadelphia and her live-in boyfriend was found covered in blood.
Police tell the Philadelphia Inquirer (https://bit.ly/2flZAB3 ) they found the 23-year-old woman in her bedroom on Tuesday night with a gunshot wound to the chest. Emergency responders declared her dead at the scene.
Police say they found her 35-year-old boyfriend covered in blood inside the Olney apartment. They say he couldn’t explain what had happened and that he has been taken in for questioning.

Police say the couple’s 1-year-old boy was in the apartment. He wasn’t harmed.
