GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Greenville County authorities are trying to determine the identity of a body found by a hunter.
Coroner Parks Evans Jr. told local media that the body was burned and partially decomposed when the hunter found it in some woods Monday afternoon.
An autopsy was planned Tuesday.
Officials are trying to determine the person’s name and cause of death.
Sheriff’s deputies are investigating.
