TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - The Pima County Attorney’s Office has dismissed charges against a Tucson man accused of killing a woman with whom he had a relationship.
The Arizona Daily Star reports (https://bit.ly/2eefn80 ) that officers had responded to a prowler report on Oct. 20 when they found the body of 62-year-old Patricia Caldwell on the bedroom floor of a home. Police arrested the woman’s partner, 54-year-old Terence Borg.
He was taken into custody on suspicion of domestic violence/manslaughter, domestic violence/kidnapping and concealment of a dead body.
Deputy Attorney Kellie Johnson says the case against Borg is being dropped because there wasn’t sufficient evidence to prove a homicide charge.
A medical examiner was unable to determine Caldwell’s cause of death.
