WASHINGTON (AP) - More than 100,000 people voted early in the District of Columbia.

Early voting ended Friday evening.

The District of Columbia Board of Elections website posted the number of voters who cast ballots at each of nine early voting sites. The numbers total to 101,077 voters. There are approximately 480,000 people registered to vote in the city.



The board said there were 14,279 voters at Chevy Chase Community Center, 13,871 voters at Columbia Heights Community Center, 8,108 voters at Dorothy I. Height-Benning Library, 5,383 voters at King Greenleaf Recreation Center, 6,134 voters at Malcolm X Elementary School, 25,096 voters at One Judiciary Square, 7,718 voters at Sherwood Recreation Center, 8,670 voters at Takoma Community Center and 11,818 voters at Turkey Thicket Recreation Center.
