SELMA, Ala. (AP) - Multiple law enforcement officers are on the scene of a body discovery at this hour near Selma.

Details are limited, but authorities confirm a hunter found the decomposing body of a man Thursday near Highway 140 off the Selma bypass.

Dallas County Coroner Alan Dailey tells WSFA-TV (https://bit.ly/2fjot0V ) that the body has been there for about five days. No cause of death or identification has been determined.



The body has been transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences in Montgomery for an autopsy.
