Two of the more well known sports analysts, The Ringer’s Bill Simmons and Sunday Night Football’s Cris Collinsworth, got into it a bit on Twitter.
Simmons, a gigantic Boston fan, called out Collinsworth’s analysis during Sunday night’s Seattle Seahawks-New England Patriots game with this tweet.
Somebody needs to gently break the news to Collinsworth that the Pats have a weak front 7 and that’s why Seattle’s o-line looks good.

Collinsworth responded, and he absolutely roasted Simmons.
“BAH GAWDD. THE STUNNER FROM COLLINSWORTH! ITS OVER” pic.twitter.com/AyAqrqTXTi

Collinsworth deleted the tweet, but it was absolutely ruthless.
That “hit show” Collinsworth is referring to is Any Given Wednesday, Simmons’ HBO talk show that first aired in June of this year. However, it was extremely short lived, cancelled after just four months, with the last episode airing on Nov. 9, after a poor viewership forced HBO to close the door.
Collinsworth lobbed that recent development up for a huge burn on Simmons. Yikes.
