Person found dead in car on University of Oklahoma campus

NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - University of Oklahoma police say a body has been found inside a vehicle on the OU campus.

Police told reporters the body was found Friday morning inside a vehicle in the parking lot of Dale Hall on the southwestern corner of campus.

OUPD Maj. Bruce Chan told The Oklahoma Daily that a dog was also found in the vehicle and is alive.

The person’s identity and a suspected cause of death have not been released. An OU spokesman says the person who died does not appear to have any connection to the university.
