The most Googled question during the Democratic presidential debate on Sunday was “Will Hillary be prosecuted?”
The question underscores the troubles Mrs. Clinton is having in the presidential contest, where she’s been dogged by questions surrounding the legality of the private email server she had in her basement while serving as Secretary of State.
According to a Quinnipiac poll released last month, 59 percent of Americans view Mrs. Clinton as being “not honest or trustworthy.”
Two of the top five questions trending during Sunday’s debate were questions related to Mrs. Clinton’s server. The other was: “What did Hillary Clinton do that was illegal?”
The FBI is currently investigating whether Mrs. Clinton sent or received any classified emails on the home-brewed server, something Mrs. Clinton has denied.
The top trending question regarding her nearest rival Vermont Senator Bernard Sanders was: Why is Bernie Sanders so popular?,” and Americans questioned why former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley was still in the race, googling: “Why is Martin O’Malley running for president?”
