Number crunchers at Netflix reviewed their user data for all but November of this year and found that nearly 6 in 10 TV-show binge-viewers take a breather before devouring another TV series on the streaming-video service.

“After finishing a series, 59% of Netflix members took at least a one-day break with a median gap of 2.5 days, according to the company’s data,” Variety magazine reported Wednesday. “During that period, 61% of those members (36% of all Netflix members) watched a standalone title.”

Researchers found other interesting patterns, Variety noted, such as how horror-series bingers often turn to tickling their funny bone after feasting on fright.

“For instance, fans of Netflix’s supernatural thriller ’Stranger Things’ most frequently next watched much lighter fare: Adam Sandler’s ’Big Daddy’ and Disney’s ’Zootopia,’” the Hollywood trade magazine said.

According to Variety, the Netflix findings are based on a review of data from 86 million members around the world who watched programming via the service online between January 2016 and October 2016.
