MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (AP) - Fire officials say one person has died after a fire that broke out in a Middlebury house.
WFSB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2hlB6rq ) that the blaze at the two-story home on Whittmore Road, also known as Route 188, broke out Tuesday afternoon.
The town’s fire chief says the victim is believed to be a man in his 60s.

It was not immediately known how the fire started.
The Connecticut State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit is assisting Middlebury officials with the case.
