ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - The estranged wife of a 50-year-old man found dead last summer in rural upstate New York, two of his sons, and her boyfriend have been arraigned on murder charges.

Laura, 23-year-old Colin, and 19-year-old Alexander Rideout, and Paul Tucci pleaded not guilty Monday in connection with the death of Craig Rideout.

Craig Rideout’s body was found wrapped in a tarp in a wooded area near Penn Yan in New York’s Finger Lakes region in July. It was badly disfigured by sulfuric acid, and court papers indicate he was strangled at his suburban Rochester residence.

Tucci’s attorney, Michael Schiano, tells the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle the case will take a long time to unravel. He says he’ confident his client will be found innocent.
