RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Investigators have charged an 18-year-old man with killing another teen found dead inside a car in Raleigh.

Police said in a news release that Aljariek Freeman was charged with murder after U.S. Marshals arrested him near Atlanta.

Authorities say residents of a Raleigh apartment complex saw a car park on a road Dec. 11 and not move for several hours.



A caller to 911 says when residents when to investigate the car they found blood all over the interior and a body inside.

Police identified the victim as 18-year-old Brandon Sandy.

Police didn’t give a motive for the killing.

It wasn’t known if Freeman had a lawyer.
