LOS ANGELES (AP) - Brandon Brown completed a 3-point play and grabbed the final rebound of the game to secure a 91-90 overtime victory for Loyola Marymount over Incarnate Word on Saturday.

Loyola Marymount’s Jeffery McClendon blocked a Tyler Singleton layup with two seconds left in the extra period. Shawn Johnson then got off a jump shot that missed and Brown grabbed the rebound.

Johnson drilled a 3 with 38 seconds left in overtime to close to 91-90.



Brown scored five of his 24 points in overtime. Buay Tuach had 14 of his 16 points after halftime and Stefan Jovanovic added 15 for Loyola Marymount (5-3). Trevor Manuel chipped in 14 points.

Incarnate Word was up 76-68 with 2:28 left in regulation. The Lions closed on a 12-4 run to tie the game at 80 and send it to overtime.

Simi Socks scored a career-high 28 points for Incarnate Word (5-5).
