ASHBURN — After missing practice the last two days, Washington Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder will sit out the third preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on Friday.

Crowder missed the Redskins preseason opener with a strained hamstring but returned against the New York Jets last week.

Running backs Matt Jones and Chris Thompson, as well as wide receiver Josh Doctson will also be out. Jones will miss the remainder of the preseason with a sprained AC joint in his left shoulder and Doctson remains on the physically unable to perform list because of left Achilles’ tendon tendinitis. Thompson is being held out for rest.

Defensive end Chris Baker and safety Deshazor Everett also did not practice on Wednesday. Coach Jay Gruden said Baker is “a little sore,” but will be fine. Everett pulled a hamstring.
