Ben Carson plans to report having more than $11 million cash on hand after raising $20 million the last three months, according to his campaign.

Doug Watts, a Carson spokesperson, said the campaign is still finalizing the third quarter fundraising report, but said the retired neurosurgeon will report having $11.5 million in the bank.

That puts Mr. Carson on par with Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida, who has $11 million cash on hand after pulling in $6 million during the third quarter.

Carly Fiorina’s presidential team announced this week that she has $5.5 million in the bank, while Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s campaign recently announced it has $2 million.

Mr. Carson has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2016 GOP primary. He is currently running second in national polls and in Iowa behind Donald Trump.
