On Friday the 13th, ISIS attacked Paris. The result was 130 dead. The result was the French went to war with the Islamic State (ISIS or ISIL). Yes, the French, who are the butt of jokes about how many times they surrendered, began bombing ISIS.
Barack Obama was asked to join the fight. He declined. On Monday, Just 3 days after the Paris attacks, Obama said, “What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of ’American leadership’ or ’America winning.”
It is official. Barack Obama has abdicated American leadership in the world to the French. As we watch the approach to his final year of his petulant presidency, sane people are wondering what else he can do to America.
Wonder no more. We now know. He wants to bring terrorism to the shores of America.
Mr. Obama announced he wanted to bring Syrian refugees to America. They aren’t just Syrian refugees. These refugees that are flooding Europe are 72 percent military-age males. Where are the women and children Mr. Obama whines about? Where are the Syrian Christians? Of the Syrians allowed in so far as refugees, 2,098 of them are Muslim while only 53 are Christian.
In short, Mr. Obama wants to import military-age Muslim men in to America. What could possibly go wrong?
Americans realize Mr. Obama is a clear and present danger to Americans. Thirty-two governors said they oppose relocating Syrian refugees in their states. They recognize the outrage of the American people. House Republicans and Democrats on Thursday approved legislation that will stop, at least temporarily, the importation of Syrian refugees to America. Under the bill, Syrian refugees would not be allowed in until the chiefs of the FBI, Homeland Security and national intelligence personally vouch the refugees are not violent jihadists.
What is Mr. Obama’s reaction?
He wants to open the door to terrorism and he says he will veto the bill and shut the government down if the spending bill included a prohibition on Syrian refugees.
Whose side is Mr. Obama on?
He supports the terrorists and not Americans.
How many Americans have died because of the refugee program? Those killed by the Tsarnaev brothers in Boston died because of America’s refugee program. Of the 70 people arrested in recent years for supporting ISIS, most are refugees.
These refugees include Bosnians, Somalis and Iraqis. Dozens of Somali men from Minnesota have left to go fight for ISIS. Where is the screening there? And is Mr. Obama going to ensure these men never return to the United States?
Unlikely.
In 2010, Waad Ramadan Alwan and Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, both al Qaeda terrorists, were convicted of trying to smuggle weapons, including machine guns, to insurgents in Iraq. These two came into America as refugees. The Iraq refugee-vetting program was robust compared to the Syrian program. The most shocking part about this story is Alwan and Hammadi had been terrorists in Iraq and had killed American soldiers in Iraq.
The refugee program is simply an open door for terrorists to come into this country. Even FBI Director James Comey admits the so-called refugees cannot be screened.
Since at least two of the Paris attackers were refugees and ISIS has bragged about embedding terrorists in the refugee wave, it is beyond dispute that these refugees are a threat to America.
Barack Obama is willing to veto a bill that would stop this threat and help protect America. He is willing to shut down the American government over this issue.
That should tell everyone where his sympathies lie.
