TARRANT, Ala. — Authorities say a man shot during a home invasion in Tarrant has died.
WBRC-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1EUsUb1) that a 26-year-old man broke into a home on Springdale Road in Tarrant around 8:20 p.m. Saturday. Authorities say the man entered a bedroom of the house and was shot by a resident who was home at the time.
The 26-year-old was taken to UAB Hospital and died of his injuries around 10 a.m. Sunday.
