Donald Trump’s surge in the polls for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination will not be covered by Glenn Beck’s radio show.
Co-hosts Pat Gray and Stu Burguiere said Thursday that the show will now be “100 percent Trump Free, with 100 percent Less Trump.”
“I’m sick of it,” said Mr. Burguiere, The Daily Caller reported. “So we’re moving on. Can’t do another show.”
The Glenn Beck program’s editorial decision is similar to The Huffington Post, which began covering Mr. Trump’s campaign in its entertainment section.
A July 20 Washington Post-ABC poll pegged Mr. Trump as the favorite of 24 percent of registered Republicans and Republican-leaning independents.
