GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A toddler is at a Grand Forks hospital after falling from the third-floor window of an apartment building at the University of North Dakota.

UND’s spokesman Peter Johnson says campus police responded to the university’s Carleton Court Apartments around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday after receiving a report about the injured toddler. Officers found the toddler with family members inside an apartment.

Johnson says the boy is 2 years old. He was transported to Altru Hospital and his condition is unknown.

The incident is under investigation and Social Services has been notified about the case.
