NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Tulane reserve center Ray Barreno has decided to transfer to junior college.
Barreno’s decision, confirmed by Tulane spokesman Roger Dunaway on Wednesday, comes after the 6-foot-11 freshman played sparingly in his only season with the Green Wave.
Barreno plans to enroll in New Mexico Junior College.

He appeared in seven games for Tulane, playing a total of 20 minutes during the 2013-14 season. He made one basket and grabbed three rebounds.
