OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A 47-year-old Burns Flat woman has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for producing child pornography.
A federal judge handed down the sentence Wednesday to Laura Jean Shoulders. U.S. Attorney Sanford Coats says Shoulders will have no possibility of parole and will have to register as a sex offender upon her release.
Court records indicate Shoulders met an Oklahoma man online in 2012. The two began texting each other about sexually explicit themes and exchanged sexually explicit photographs.
The conversations turned to child pornography, and Shoulders sent the man three videos of herself performing sex acts with a one-year-old child she was babysitting. The videos were distributed to others online.
Shoulders pleaded guilty in February 2013. Her attorney, Brooke Tebow, did not immediately return a telephone call seeking comment.
