SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Gov. Jerry Brown is reporting that he has nearly $21 million in the bank for his re-election campaign, even though he faces no serious competition for the top spot in the June 3 primary.

Brown reported Tuesday that he has raised nearly $4 million this year from a variety of interests and spent just $77,000, mostly for campaign consultants and staff.

The Democratic governor is expected to easily win one of the top two spots in the primary and advance to November.
