ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) - A man arrested last fall in connection with an unsolved 2005 slaying in central New Jersey has now been indicted on murder charges.
Union County prosecutors say 48-year-old Dorian Gillon is charged in the strangulation death of 39-year-old Williametta Moore, whose body was found just inside the front door of her Plainfield home in December 2005. His bail was set at $1 million cash, and it wasn’t known Saturday if he has retained an attorney.
Gillon, who lived about a block away from the victim at the time of her death, was arrested in September after the county’s homicide task force had DNA evidence examined.
