NEW YORK (AP) - A New York jury has deliberated for six hours without reaching a verdict in the trial of an Egyptian imam accused of supporting terrorist organizations from his London mosque.
Jury deliberations began Thursday in the case against Mustafa Kamel Mustafa (muh-STAH’-fuh kah-MEHL’ muh-STAH’-fuh). The jury returns Monday morning.
U.S. District Judge Katherine Forrest in Manhattan warned them not to be “swayed by sympathy, prejudice or fear.”
