WASHINGTON (AP) - Police in Washington are identifying a man who was fatally shot earlier this week in northwest Washington.

The Metropolitan Police Department said Saturday the man is 24-year-old Roshaine Henry. The police department says officers were called to the 900 block of Madison Street in northwest Washington on Wednesday at about 7:50 p.m. for a report of a car accident.

When police responded they found Henry inside a vehicle and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Henry was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Anyone with information about Henry’s death is asked to call police at (202) 727-9099.
