RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Police in Rapid City arrested a dozen people and ticketed four more after busting a house party over the weekend.

Authorities say the people ranging in age from 15 to 20 were at a party at a house that the homeowner had vacated. A 16-year-old boy related to the homeowner was arrested for maintaining a common nuisance and possessing marijuana.

Several others were charged with illegally consuming alcohol. Authorities say one boy broke a second-floor window and jumped out to try to get away from officers who responded to the scene shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday.
