AUBURN, Ala. (AP) - Lee County officials have identified two men who died in a three-car crash on the Shug Jordan Park way in Auburn.
Coroner Bill Harris says 27-year-old Joel C. Finney and 53-year-old Rodney Harcum of Notasulga were both pronounced dead after the crash Tuesday morning.
A 26-year-old Tuskegee woman who was also injured was airlifted to a hospital in Birmingham. Details on her extent of injuries weren’t immediately available.
Police Capt. Lorenza Dorsey says a portion of the highway was shut down while authorities investigated the crash.
Details on how the crash happened and whether authorities expect any charges to be filed were not immediately available.
