HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A Harrisburg man has been charged with homicide for allegedly strangling his girlfriend during a domestic dispute.

Forty-six-year-old Joseph Albert Riddick is being held without bail in Dauphin County prison in the death of 44-year-old Yevette Morrison.

Harrisburg police Sgt. Gabriel Olivera said Monday that Joseph Riddick admitted to police that he had strangled his girlfriend, who died at a hospital Sunday.

Investigators said the couple had been living together at the Alva Motel in Harrisburg, where police found the victim unresponsive.
