FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Regan Watson scored a game-high 18 points to lead third-seeded Bismarck Shiloh Christian to a 55-36 quarterfinal win over Kidder County at the North Dakota Class B girls basketball tournament Thursday.
Watson was 6-for-11 from the field, including 5-for-7 from 3-point range. She opened the third quarter with a three to start a 9-2 run and ended the quarter the same way to give the Skyhawks (24-1) a 46-30 lead heading into the fourth.
The Skyhawks (24-1), which returned to the state tournament after a one-year hiatus, got a double-double from Gabby Wilkinson and Jaye Two Bears had 10 points and five assists. Wilkinson finished with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
The Pirates (19-6) were led by Sadie Rohrich’s 6-of-15 shooting from the field for 12 points and three steals.
