NEW YORK (AP) - The mayor has expressed hope that people unaccounted for after the East Harlem blast could still be found alive.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said Thursday that people trying to locate loved ones can call 311 and ask for the Unified Victim Identification System.
Searchers have indicated they were still trying to locate at least five people on Thursday. The mayor declined to give a figure for the number of people believed to be missing.
