ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - The New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting at a Rochester mobile home park.
Authorities say the incident began when three officers from the Department of Corrections and a Strafford County sheriff’s deputy went to serve an arrest warrant Monday afternoon on a man at the mobile home park.
A short time later, Rochester police say they received a report of shots fired inside the home.
Investigators say the man who was the subject of the arrest warrant was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound and then taken to a hospital. They did not immediately release his name or condition.
No officers were hurt.
It’s unclear who fired the gun or what prompted the shooting. The investigation is ongoing.
