At least 14 firefighters have been hurt while battling a raging, five-alarm fire that broke out early Thursday morning on Staten Island.
Another 10 or so civilians have been injured, too, a spokesman for the New York City Fire Department said, The Associated Press reported. The injuries range from mild to serious, but none are considered life-threatening.
About 200 firefighters are on scene, fighting the blaze which is consuming two homes.
