SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a 59-year-old woman was found dead after a fire at her Spartanburg apartment.
Coroner Rusty Clevenger says authorities found Yvonne Ford McMillian in her locked home on Saturday afternoon.
Clevenger says relatives last spoke to McMillian on Wednesday. Officials think McMillian was overcome by smoke and lost consciousness.
Clevenger says there was no evidence of foul play. Authorities are still investigating, and an autopsy was planned for Sunday to determine exactly how McMillian died.
