CUMBERLAND, Md. (AP) - A state psychiatric hospital patient in Cumberland is moving to more secure surroundings after he was ruled incompetent to stand trial for allegedly stabbing a nurse in the head with a metal spike.

An Allegany County prosecutor said Monday that the judge ruled Thursday that 51-year-old Craig Zello is a danger himself or others. So Zello is going to the maximum-security Clifton T. Perkins Hospital in Jessup.

Zello could still be tried for the October attack if he is found competent.
