BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Democratic congressman Jared Polis is getting a fashion makeover from GQ Magazine.
The Boulder Democrat drew criticism after he showed up on the House floor Tuesday wearing a black suit jacket with a buttoned-up purple polo shirt and a bowtie.
The outfit caught the attention of a GQ writer who was appalled and told Polis a fashion coordinator could help improve his image. Polis got the message and accepted the offer. So far, no date has been set for the congressman to get new clothes.
