Left tackle Trent Williams did not practice with the Washington Redskins on Wednesday as he continues to recover after spraining his right shoulder in the loss to the New York Giants.
Williams was one of four players who did not practice for the Redskins, who will play Philadelphia on Saturday. Defensive end Jason Hatcher (inflammation in right knee) and outside linebacker Gabe Miller (sprained left ankle) sat out of the two-hour session, while tight end Jordan Reed was not in attendance as he was attending the birth of his first child.
Strong safety Brandon Meriweather (sprained right big toe) and inside linebacker Keenan Robinson (sprained MCL in left knee) were able to practice in a limited manner on Wednesday. Center Kory Lichtensteiger (sprained MCL in left knee), nose tackle Chris Baker (sprained right sternoclavicular joint), running back Roy Helu (turf toe in left foot) and inside linebacker Will Compton (sprained left shoulder) finished a full practice.
The Eagles announced that in addition to quarterback Nick Foles, who is recovering from a broken left collarbone, outside linebacker Trent Cole will not play on Saturday after breaking a bone in his left hand in the loss to Dallas on Sunday. They listed eight other players on their injury report, but all were able to finish a full practice on Wednesday.
